The Best Podcasts You Need In Your Life

Podcasts have really seemed to take off this year and with Lockdown 2.0 in full swing we’ve rounded up the best podcasts you need in your life that have something for everyone from the weird and wonderful to helping your mental health, we’ve got you covered.

LuAnna: The Podcast

It’s only fitting to kick the list off with the mother of all podcasts, the one that started it all for us: LuAnna. The hosts, Luisa Zissman and Anna Williamson alongside producer Imo never fail to make us laugh with their (mainly Luisa’s) rants and honesty about life’s issues. They have the best features such as I’ve never told anyone this but… and Weirdo of the week people really don’t hold back! If you’re not easily offended and need some good belly laughs, we cannot recommend this enough and we’re sure you’ll be raving about it to everyone you know after just one episode!

The Girls Bathroom

Talk about it does what it says on the tin! This really is like a girl’s bathroom in a club where you get told he’s not worth it, you’re beautiful and you don’t need a man (anyone else craving this right now?). The hosts, best mates Sophia and Cinzia share their dilemmas, talk about what they’re going through, help with other girls problems and try to make sense of boys and why they behave the way they do- they’re braver than us trying to explain boys mindsets! If you want a loving sense of community and girl power get involved in the girls bathroom and know we’re all in it together.

Call Her Daddy

Similar vibes to The Girls Bathroom but with a little bit more sex chat, including the infamous Gluck Gluck 9000 technique (if you know, you know). More girl chat and dilemmas answered from host Alex and her guests, learn tips and tricks every Wednesday and get inspired to be the best version of yourself while feeling like an absolute boss!

At Home With…

We first discovered Lily Pebbles and Anna Newton on Youtube but really got to know them via their At Home With podcast, when it first started, they had a new guest every week but now they’ve changed things up and it’s just the two of them and a brand new topic every episode. They’ve covered uni, tmi beauty, motherhood and body image showing two different perspectives and answer questions from the listeners. This is really great for a wide range of issues that women face from two lovely hosts that will be an interesting listen and is great to listen to with a nice cup of tea.

Happy Place

In this podcast, Fearne Cotton invites a new guest each week to talk about their careers, the struggles they’ve faced to get there, and mental health. Even if you don’t know the guest it’s always an interesting listen as finding out how a range of different people became success stories in a multitude of careers is such an inspiration.

Good Influence with Gemma Styles

Although there has only been one episode of this brand-new podcast, we think it’s an important one that needs to be heard. The first episode discussed mental health in depth that was such an eye- opening listen and we can’t wait to learn more about different topics such as sustainable fashion and climate change.

Everyday Positivity

We always start our mornings by listening to the Everyday Positivity podcast, that uploads each day and lasts between one and three minutes to give you the most positive start to your day possible. It gives advice and reminders of how to love and be the best possible version of yourself.

Mindful In Minutes

If you struggle with meditation or mindfulness, these under twenty minute episodes focused on something different each time such as worry and accepting change. These are perfect to do in the evenings to get you into meditation and relax your mind for a good nights sleep.

We hope you enjoyed this post and have found it useful, please feel free to leave your podcast recommendations in the comments to help others. As always, please feel free to contact us with any suggestions, questions or even just a friendly chat, we’re always here.
